HOW IT WORKS

As the bees pass through the holes of the the thymol-coated entranceway, the thymol rubs off onto the body of the bee. Ultimately, the concentration which kills the varroa mite is reached guaranteeing the death of the parasite. However, the concentration which harms the honeybee is never reached, leaving the honeybee unharmed. This device is temperature-independent, does not contaminate the honey, and does not need any additional maintenance after a quick one-time installation!
